Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh & Complete Rest - Activity: Land at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh. Transfer to your hotel and strictly rest for the entire day. Purpose: Essential acclimatization to thin mountain air. Avoid any physical exertion. Stay: Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing & Sham Valley - Visit the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers (Sangam Point). Stop by the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill and the historic Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Afternoon: Pay tribute at the Indian Army's Hall of Fame museum. Evening: Catch a stunning sunset over the mountains at the iconic Shanti Stupa. Stay: Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La – Drive over Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world at 18,380 feet. Afternoon: Arrive in Nubra Valley. Visit the historic Diskit Monastery to see its massive 100ft Maitreya Buddha statue. Evening: Walk along the white <>strongHunder Sand Dunes and ride the unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Stay: Nubra Valley (Hunder/Diskit).

Day 4: Day Trip to Turtuk Village – Drive deep into the valley toward Turtuk Village, the northernmost village of India right on the Indo-Pak border. Afternoon: Walk through the unique Balti culture village, filled with local apricot orchards and traditional stone houses. Evening: Head back to Hunder for a relaxed evening. Stay: Nubra Valley.

Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso via Shyok River Road – Skip returning to Leh and instead drive directly along the rugged, scenic Agham-Shyok River route. Afternoon: Arrive at the mesmerizing Pangong Tso Lake (14,500 feet). Watch its deep blue waters change colors as the sun moves. Evening: Experience a cold, pristine night stargazing by the lakeside. Stay: Lakeside Camp or Homestay (Pangong/Merak).

Day 6: Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La – Wake up early for a magical lakeside sunrise photoshoot.Afternoon: Begin the drive back to Leh, crossing the massive Chang La Pass. Stop en route to tour the grand, multi-tiered Thiksey Monastery. Evening: Do some last-minute souvenir shopping at the Leh Main Market. Stay: Leh.

Day 7: Departure from Leh – ransfer early morning to the Leh Airport for your flight back home.
