Itinerary

Day 1: Gardens and Local Charm - Government Botanical Garden. Explore 55 acres of exotic plants and a fossilized tree trunk estimated to be 20 million years old, Rose Garden & Elk Hill. Visit the Government Rose Garden to see thousands of varieties, then head to Elk Hill Murugan Temple for panoramic town views, Ooty Lake & Boat House. End your day with a peaceful boat ride surrounded by eucalyptus trees.

Day 2: The Toy Train & Coonoor - Doddabetta Peak. Start early at the highest point in the Nilgiris for breathtaking views of the valleys, Tea Factory & Museum. Learn about tea processing and sample fresh Nilgiri tea, Nilgiri Mountain Railway (Toy Train). Take the UNESCO World Heritage Toy Train from Ooty to Coonoor, Coonoor Highlights. Visit Sim’s Park, Lamb’s Rock, and Dolphin’s Nose for stunning cliff-side views before returning to Ooty.

Day 3: Nature Trails & Waterfalls – Pykara Waterfalls & Lake. Visit the cascading falls and enjoy motorboating or speed boating on the serene Pykara Lake, Wenlock Downs & Pine Forest. Stop at the "9th Mile" shooting point for rolling green meadows and walk through the towering trees of the Pine Forest, Avalanche Lake. If time permits, head to this untouched spot for trekking or nature photography.
