Day 01 Arrival

Gateway to the Clouds (Arrival in Gangtok)

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). Hire a pre-paid Sikkim-registered taxi directly from the terminal to avoid extra local vehicle swaps. Embark on a 4 to 5-hour scenic uphill drive (approx. 125 km) winding alongside the turquoise Teesta River. Check into your hotel in Gangtok. Day 02 Rishikesh

Glacial Lakes and High Passes

Set off early (around 8 AM) for a high-altitude day trip. Drive 40 km up to the breathtaking Tsomgo Lake, a sacred glacial body of water sitting at 12,313 feet. Continue further uphill to pay your respects at the Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a unique shrine built to honor a legendary Indian soldier. If weather conditions and your physical permits allow, you can add an optional detour to the Indo-China border at Nathu La Pass. Return to Gangtok for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 03 Mussoorie

Into the Deep Himalayas (Gangtok to Lachung)

Check out of your hotel and begin your northbound journey to Lachung (approx. 8,738 feet). This roughly 6-hour route is famously rugged but exceptionally beautiful, passing deep mountain valleys, dense forests, and massive waterfalls like Naga Falls. Arrive at the peaceful Himalayan village of Lachung, check into a cozy local mountain lodge, and relax to acclimatize to the colder climate

Day 04 Jim Corbett

The Valley of Flowers & Back to Base

Wake up early and drive to the magnificent Yumthang Valley (12,000 feet), famously known as the Valley of Flowers due to its stunning meadows and snow-capped perimeter. If you are craving more snow, push onward to Zero Point, where the civilian road ends and the majestic white glaciers begin. Head back to Lachung for a quick lunch, pack up, and take the return drive back down to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 05 Tiger Safari

Crossing States to the Queen of Hills

Enjoy breakfast, check out, and start your drive towards West Bengal's premier hill station, Darjeeling (approx. 4 hours). Stop briefly at the Lover's Meet Viewpoint to watch the distinct, colorful confluence of the Teesta and Rangeet rivers. Arrive in Darjeeling and check in. Spend your evening relaxing with a hot cup of world-famous local tea at Chowrasta (The Mall Road).

Day 06 Nainital

Tea Gardens & Iconic Sunrises

Wake up before dawn and drive up to Tiger Hill (8,482 feet) to witness a world-class sunrise lighting up the massive Mount Kanchenjunga range in shades of gold. On the drive back down, stop by the historic Ghoom Monastery and the loop-engineered Batasia Loop, where you can catch the historic Himalayan Toy Train steaming After a hearty breakfast, explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park to spot rare red pandas, visit the adjoining Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and tour a lush local tea estate. Do some final souvenir shopping around the colonial streets of Darjeeling.

Day 07 Departure

Bid Farewell to the Hills

Have breakfast at your leisure, pack your bags, and embark on your 3 to 4-hour descending drive back to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or NJP Railway Station for your flight or train home.
